Ryan Calhoon
CMT
Ryan has spent his nine-year career developing his own style of somatic massage based on the science of psychophysiology. His technique takes a trauma informed approach to bodywork, looking at the body’s protection patterns and how they create dysfunction and disconnect between the body and mind.
Ryan draws inspiration from various Western modalities, such as trigger point therapy, myofascial massage, sports massage, and Eastern techniques, such as Lomi Lomi, Tui Na, and Reiki, as well as somatic techniques such as somatic experiencing and emotional release therapy. He creates a unique, versatile, and individually curated experience for his clients.
As much as Ryan is an expert in relaxation and deep tissue therapy, his keen sense for finding the tension and effectively releasing it makes him incredible at massage for rehabilitation and injury management.
Ryan was born and raised in the Bay Area, but he studied massage therapy in Oregon at East West College of the Healing Arts. When he’s not working, Ryan uses his creativity to make music and films.

De'Vin Thompson NASM Certified Personal Training, NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist, Brookbush Institute CPT
De’Vin is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist, and NASM Certified Stretching and Flexibility Coach. He is also currently enrolled in the Mckinnon Body Therapy program. He specializes in Corrective Exercise and Functional Training. This form of training helps to improve posture, quality of movement, and movement mechanics, which in turn minimizes stress, tension, and wear & tear on muscles and joints. This type of training can also help to enhance body awareness (kinesthetic awareness) both during training as well as during activities of daily living, which can help reduce both fall and injury risks.
De’Vin became interested in fitness because he always enjoyed training and staying fit. This passion led him to pursue a career in personal training and, more broadly, in health and wellness. Throughout most of his career, he worked with weight loss clients. However, whether he is assisting clients with weight loss, post-rehab recovery, or general fitness, his goal remains the same: to help people move better, feel better, and perform better. He is grateful to have the opportunity to do this at MaxPerformGo.
De’Vin’s preferred training style combines corrective exercise, stability training, and strength training as he believes these three types of training create a balanced approach. In addition to his training and experience in fitness and corrective exercise, he also has training and experience in stretching and manual therapy. He is currently certified as a stretching and flexibility coach and is currently pursuing certification as a massage therapist. As mentioned above, his main areas of focus are functional training, corrective exercise, and stretching and manual therapy.
